**watch, "Triangle inequality theorem" (**5:51)- be sure you are logged in!

**complete practice - "Triangle side length rules"**(4 problems)

**Main ideas to write in your books/notes:**

a.

**TRIANGLE INEQUALITY THEOREM:**In a triangle, any side length has to be less than the sum of the other 2 sides.

ex. 5 is less than 3+4, so 3,4,5 can be the lengths of a triangle; 8 is not less than 2+5, so a triangle with sides 2,5,8 will not close.

b.

**ANGLE SUM THEOREM:**All 3 angles of a triangle ALWAYS equal 180 degrees! Two triangles make a quadrilateral which is 360 degrees.

**Complete, check and turn into google classroom- PRACTICE BOOK PROBLEMS #1,2,3,4 only.**
