1. Today we are going to continue learning about the Surface Area of Right Prisms," U7L14.
2. Your learning targets:
a. I can picture the net of a prism to help me calculate its surface area.
b. I can find and use shortcuts when calculating the surface area of prism.
3. The detailed lesson plan is on the slides below and in google classroom.
Please review each slide and follow along carefully!

2. Watch the Edpuzzle video linked in google classroom.
3. You will need your math notebook to draw nets as you watch the video.
4. For today's lesson you will complete IXL Z.2 "Nets of threedimensional figures" and Z.3 "Front, side, and top view."
5. Continue working on IXL (due by Friday) AA.7 and AA.11

1. Today, we will begin learning about how to find the surface area of a right prism!
2. First, Watch: Edpuzzle  Surface Area of Right Prism (link is in google classroom assignment)
3. You will watch the entire video (3:33 minutes) and along the way, there are embedded questions you will need to stop and answer. You will know there is a question when the video pauses.
4. After you answer a question, you need to hit "CONTINUE" to move on to the next portion.
5. You will need a math notebook to do your work and take notes.
6. Second, after you watch the Edpuzzle, review and save both the documents: "how to find surface area" and the "difference between surface and volume."
7. Third, complete the 7th Surface Area Practice linked below and submit your work and answers to this assignment.
